Heart Chakra

NUMBER FOUR: THE HEART CHAKRA

Our Heart Center-- Love in its Purest form--Unconditional Love

Color: Green & Pink
Gland: Thymus, controlling the immune system.
Sense: Touch, feeling, clairsentient
Element: Air. This chakra acts like a radiant sun, storing energy for future use. Since it stores energy it is action-oriented.
Location: Center of Chest, behind the sternum.
Physical Body Parts: Heart, lungs, chest, arms, breasts. Physical conditions can include shallow breathing, asthma, heart problems and high blood pressure.
Consciousness: Emotional empowerment.
Primary Fears: Fears of Loneliness, commitment, and "following ones heart"; fear of inability to protect oneself emotionally, fear of emotional weakness and betrayal. Loss of fourth chakra energy can give rise to jealousy, bitterness, anger, hatred, and an inability to forgive others as well as oneself.
Primary Strengths:Love, forgiveness, compassion, dedication, inspiration, hope, trust and the ability to heal oneself and others..
Un-dealt with Issues: When the 4th chakra is deficient, one may experience feelings of shyness and loneliness, an inability to forgive or a lack of empathy. When the 4th chakra is excessive one may experience co-dependency, possessiveness, or jealousy.
Mantra: "I LOVE. I accept myself fully as I am. "
SACRED TRUTH: The path towards spiritual consciousness is through the heart. This sacred truth is not negotiable, no matter what spiritual tradition one chooses.

Indian Blanket

SACRED GIVEAWAY :  The passing on of objects which have meaning for a person is an act of magnification and resolution. This is a common Native American tradition.
How To: Look through your belongings and find an object that has had meaning for you but that you are ready to pass on to someone else. Think of  a person who might benefit from the vibrations or properties of that object. Maybe it’s  a rock you found on a walk that could help a friend on her path, or a crystal that helped you see clearly. Create a special moment and pass on your sacred object to your friend.  Tell its story.

THANKSGIVING: The Giveaway Ceremony is also used in bringing together community. This season is the ultimate Giveaway opportunity.  It is a time for remembering your blessings and the gifts of family and friends.  What a perfect time to have a Group Giveaway as part of your Thanksgiving celebration!
