Got it.
Anne and I were in a similar situation 5 years ago – it actually gave rise to Caring For The Caregiver!
If you have become a caregier, you can call me at 516 944-6454, or attend our Caring Circle in Syosset – see schedule on this page.
Craig.
Today (Jan 26th) is one year since my wife Debbie and I learned she had breast cancer. What followed were loads of lab tests, consultations with doctors, surgery, reconstruction, oophorectomy, chemo, hair loss, unused scarfs, a natural hair wig, fear, pride, generous friends and family, a whole lot of learning and recovery. For me there was a whole spectrum of emotions and thoughts.
Debbie’s now back at work and her hair is short and curly. Our perspectives on life have been altered. She gets tired earlier and gets to bed earlier. Our Friday nights are nights at home. And she still hurts (her last surgery was 2 months ago).
I’m interested in seeing what you are creating. Craig Jennings told me about Caring for the Caregiver yesterday.
